The 19th version of our Baseball Trip will be taking us to Minnesota to see Target Field in its inaugural season. We weren't fortunate enough to be able to see the Red Sox while we're there, but I would imagine that we'll still enjoy the park and the times we have in and around town.

What are we going to do while we're there? Your guess is as good as mine, so I will keep you posted as the plans start to formulate. Other than golfing for some, and a trip to the Mall of America for Matt-U and I, I have no idea what we will do to keep us entertained.

I doubt that it will be a boring read when I update this in late August when we get back from our trip ...

This Year's Trip:

Minneapolis, MN

August 12th - 16th

Minnesota Twins vs. Oakland A's

Games While We're There:
Fri 8/13 @ 8:10
Sat 8/14 @ 7:10
Sun 8/15 @ 2:10

The Twins were nice enough to build a new ballpark for us to come visit, but they certainly didn't do us any favors by having the Red Sox only visit in town on Opening Weekend in April. So, we bounced around the birthdays, anniversaries, dance, little league, hockey, etc and came up with a weekend in August for us to visit Target Field.

Jeff's friend Mike Dolejs will be meeting us in Minny, so he will be considered the only rookie on this year's smaller crew. Matt-U got off the schnide last year when he actually showed up in Pittsburgh, so we can no longer call him a rookie anymore.

What will Minnesota bring that none of us can anticipate? Each and every city we have visited has shown us it's special charm in one form or another (some to our great surprise), and I expect this crew to find a similar experience when we hit the Twin Cities.

Anticipated Attendees:
